# camada pricing, by events per month

You pay for events: one per request your SDK sees. Every plan runs Watchkeeper, the AI analyst, and shows you its verdicts. On Free they stay recommendations. Paid plans can also enforce: once you turn enforcement on, your app blocks the clients the analyst judges malicious. Going over your included events never blocks traffic.

Free needs no card. A 14-day trial of Starter or Growth needs a card. Nothing is charged today. Cancel before the trial ends (the date is shown in the app) and you pay nothing. Otherwise the plan's monthly price starts on day 15. There is one trial per person and per card, once your email is verified. Enforcement is on, and you get every feature of the plan you pick for the whole trial.

Raw events are kept 7 days on every plan. Retention above applies to verdicts, blocks, greylist and run reports.

Chat budgets count input and output tokens together, per calendar month (UTC), across the organization. Each user can send 30 messages an hour. [What the agent can do](https://www.camada.app/docs/chat).

Enterprise is for volume past Growth's 10M events. It adds a year of retention, chat with no monthly token budget, the audit log of every change in your organization, and a price we set with you, with no overage. SAML single sign-on and EU-only data residency are not offered yet, and no plan has a published uptime commitment yet.

## How billing works

**What is an event?**

One request your SDK saw. Every request ships one event; beacon posts ride along with the request they belong to. Snapshot polls and bytes are shown on your usage page but never billed.

**How does the 14-day trial work?**

Free needs no card. A 14-day trial of Starter or Growth needs a card. Nothing is charged today. Cancel before the trial ends (the date is shown in the app) and you pay nothing. Otherwise the plan's monthly price starts on day 15. Prepaid cards can't start a trial, and there is one trial per person and per card, once your email is verified. Enforcement is on, and you get every feature of the plan you pick for the whole trial. If you cancel or switch plan during the trial, the end date stays the same. A cancelled trial ends on that date with no charge and the organization moves to Free. If the day-15 charge fails, the organization has Free features until an invoice is paid.

**What happens when I go over the included events?**

Traffic is never blocked and your app is never slowed. On Free, camada lowers the sampling rate after a 10% grace so the analyst keeps working within budget. On paid plans sampling stays at 1 and the extra events are billed per million at your plan rate. You are alerted at 80% and at 100%.

**How is overage calculated?**

Per million events over the included amount, per month, on the events actually ingested. Starter is $5 per extra 1m events, Growth $3 per extra 1m events. It appears as its own line on the Stripe invoice.

**How is chat metered?**

The agent is included on Growth and Enterprise. Growth comes with 2M input and output tokens across the whole organization, counted per calendar month (UTC); Enterprise is unlimited. Every user is also limited to 30 messages an hour, counted over a rolling window. When the monthly budget runs out the agent answers with a short upgrade notice instead of calling the model. Nothing else in camada changes.

**Why is enforcement off on Free?**

Free is for seeing what camada sees and running the learning window. Verdicts still appear as recommendations; the SDK does not enforce them.

**Can I change plans later?**

Yes. An upgrade takes effect at once and is invoiced prorated. A downgrade, and cancelling, take effect at the end of the period you already paid for. Nothing changes until then.
